Hey! welcome to my BLOG. here i talk about whatevers currently on my mind and maybe in the future my devlogs and projects.
I also have a blog on newgrounds though i think that im mainly going to blog here.
11/28/24: setting up shop.
I finaly started my site redesign. i got this sleek blue backgound and everything.
Now all i need to do is actually update this place. a bunch of cool stuff has been going on over the last couple months.
not sure if i mentioned this in the old blog but im part of this game studio called HOLEMOLE GAMES.
and weve resently finished working on our first big game, Apple Island. Its a platformer. I did most of the backgronds and tilesets. you can play it
here its pretty jank but you should still check it out.
12/24/24: godot is driving me insane..
so theres this game ive been working on that i was using gdevelop to make. despite gdevelop being super simple and easy to use. some of its core design features made it almost imposible to do what I wanted to do.so thats why Ive resently desiced to abandon gdevelop to learn a new enginge that more than five people have ever used. I picked godot since it seemed to be way more flexibal and robust. however it seems that the learning curve it has compared to gdevelop is
MUCH steeper. in orger to create anything you gotta link up all these node things. and them link them to parent nodes to create a scene. So its way easeir

you see that weird box?
also merry christmas
01/13/25: Cool flashgame I found.
So yesterday i was looking through webistes and found
this gem. Its like a mix between ginstar heros and guerrilla war. like seriosly, If you have some extra time, go play this. im definitly gonna use this as inspiration for that game i was working on. now heres something stupid that i saw. so i was looking up how to do somthing with the animation timline in krita. and then this poped up in the youtube search. It looked kinda insteting so i desided to check it out. so the guy spends the entre short taling about how aparently this guy used some "advanced technique" in his sonic animation that was playing in the video. in im like, okay who made it? this looks cool! Turns out that they dindt creait the guy. heres the original video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fy1VE6BrcMw. the guy name is Vikram G. To top it off. the thing they were saying was just that the streched the model for a spcsific acamera shot, witch is
a super common thing to do in 3d animation. yet they act as if this is like the invention of the wheel. so heres another fun game to play. next time you watch any verticle video that is talking about someone's work, check if they say their name of the decription links to whatever it is there talking about. if so look at a different short. if not, quit watching shorts and go do somthing better instead.
